The Jackie Daly Collection - Original Irish Tunes Jackie Daly is a renowned Irish button accordion and melodeon player and one of the greatest exponents of the iconic Sliabh Luachra style of the southwest of Ireland. Born in Kanturk, Co. Cork, Jackie grew up surrounded by the rich Sliabh Luachra music tradition. One of the greatest influences on his early musical development was Ballydesmond fiddle player, Jim O'Keeffe - apupil of the famous Sliabh Luachra fiddle master, Padraig O'Keeffe. The first accordion player with supergroup De Dannan, Jackie Daly has played and recorded with some of the greatest musicians in traditional Irish music over the years including legendary fiddle player Kevin Burke.
