Bougainvillea x Buttiana 'Miss Manila' (Bougainvillea 'Miss Manila' / 'Tango') - Climbing

Bougainvillea x Buttiana 'Miss Manila' (Bougainvillea 'Miss Manila' / 'Tango') - Climbing

The Bougainvillea is a genus which includes vigorous climbing shrubs with long branches. The real beauty of the plant is the brightly coloured bracts, which last for all the warm months. They are quick growers and, in just a few years, will cover a large area. In colder climates, they are grown in pots, where they canbe kept outside in the summer and taken under cover as soon as the weather turns cold. Bougainvillea prefers siliceous soil but will grow in almost any kind of garden soil as long as it is free from stagnation. Its position must be in full sun. We would not suggest this plant for out door use in a cold damp country like Scotland.
