Patio Fruit Trees Cherry Athos and Plum Little Vic

Patio Fruit Trees Cherry Athos and Plum Little Vic

We are delighted to offer you the chance to grow the Nation's favourite fruit trees in your garden, on a balcony, terrace or patio. Thanks to recent breeding breakthroughs, we can now bring you plums and cherries on compact plants so that everyone can have a go at growing them!Cherry 'Athos'Delicious fruits are super sweet and have an old fashioned mouth-watering aromatic flavour - each totally winter hardy bush will produce up to 5kg of fruit per year once fully established.Because it grows in a naturally dwarf bush habit and on its own roots, rather than as a tall grafted tree, you can pick your heavy crop of tasty cherries from each branch, easily and from the safety of ground level every summer from early July, so no 'Cherry Pickers' required! As this variety is self fertile, it does not have to be planted side-by-side with another for pollination.'Athos' is perfect for any garden and is even suitable to grow in a large pot - it could even be grown as the ultimate productive hedge!Plum 'Little Vic'Clever fruit tree grower Will Sibley has teamed the ever-popular best-selling 'Victoria' with a very dwarfing and compact new VVA1 rootstock, which removes most of the vigour that can sometimes be the downfall of Plums. It's like someone has shrunk the tree yet kept the fruit the same - just as big and juicy as the normal variety. It still produces lovely pure white spring blossom displays, and is self-fertile, so no other plums needed for fruit - just the bees that need to do their thing!Perfect in large patio pots (minimum 30cm diameter) for 5 years or so, it produces big, juicy crops of classic red Victoria plums, yet stays small, manageable and perfect for everyone.

Duo Plum Fruit Tree

Plum 'Victoria' & 'Czar' Duo Tree - Now everyone can grow fruit trees in the minimum of space! These incredible duo fruit trees have been meticulously grafted by highly skilled nurserymen, to create 2 different trees growing on one rootstock! What's more, the rootstocks are dwarfing meaning that your trees will always remain compact! You will get 2 different varieties of fruit from 1 tree so are perfect for anyone who loves the idea of picking their own home-grown fresh fruit but has limited space. Each of the varieties will produce bumper crops of delicious full-sized fruit! Because they are already trained into a V shape, they are perfect for growing up a wall. Plum 'Victoria' - Named in honour of the much-loved British queen, 'Victoria' Plum is the UK's favourite plum variety by a mile and deservedly so! The delicious fruits are ready to pick each July and taste simply mouth-watering when eaten straight from the tree. With the remaining fruit you can make jams and preserves, and, of course, eat them stewed with custard! Plum 'Czar' - This popular variety boasts a display of pretty, dark-blue fruits that look remarkable when ripening on trees around August each year. The delicious fruits are soon followed by attractive and fragrant white blossoms, growing to create a spectacle in the summer. The fruits can be left on the tree to mature even longer, obtaining a dark and richer colour, while softening in flavour and gaining a certain sweetness. You can plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Supplied as grower-quality bare-root duo fruit tree with two varieties grafted on to dwarfing rootstocks.
