An Integrated Infrastructure Delivery Model for Developing Economies Planning and Delivery Management Attributes

An Integrated Infrastructure Delivery Model for Developing Economies Planning and Delivery Management Attributes

This book explores the attributes of an integrated model for infrastructure delivery as a means to achieve high impact investing sustainable growth and development in a developing economy. An Integrated Infrastructure Delivery Model for Developing Economies: Planning and Delivery Management Attributes is premised on the understanding that one of the most significant barriers to efficient and effective infrastructure delivery is the nature and extent of fragmentation in the ways in which infrastructure projects are planned designed and delivered. Using a Delphi method the research presented in this book examines the infrastructure delivery models and practices that have been employed in South Africa and other developing countries and in doing so presents eight attributes for integrated infrastructure delivery. These are: (i) developing a common vision for the community (ii) stakeholder participation (iii) integrated project development and scoping (iv) access to planning information (v) cross-sectoral planning (vi) integrated infrastructure master plans (vii) statutory and regulatory compliance and (viii) integrated contractual frameworks. The book presents a practical model that can serve as a guide and a manual for project planning and development to achieve integrated infrastructure delivery in developing economies. The proposed model should serve as a framework to inform future planning and programming of infrastructure projects within the public sector space. Furthermore the application of the model will help resolve the problems of fragmentation and lack of coordination in how infrastructure projects are planned and implemented. This book will be beneficial to infrastructure practitioners policymakers researchers and academics who pursue best practice models to improve the delivery and management of infrastructure. | An Integrated Infrastructure Delivery Model for Developing Economies Planning and Delivery Management Attributes

SVR Sebiaclear Cicapeel Anti-Spot and Anti-Marks Targeted Active Gel, 15ml

SVR Sebiaclear Cicapeel Anti-Spot and Anti-Marks Targeted Active Gel, 15ml

SVR Sebiaclear Cicapeel Anti-Spot and Anti-Marks Targeted Active Gel,  with invisible texture and oil free, which dries and eliminates pimples and black spots in record time, avoiding the formation of marks and scars. It works by clearing clogged pores and refining skin texture. The production of sebum is a mechanism for defending the skin against external aggressions, but when this production is excessive it becomes a problem due to the brightness it confers and the occlusion of hair follicles originating from pimples and black spots. In these situations the use of specific products such as SVR Sebiaclear Cicapeel Active Gel 24h Anti-Imperfections and Anti-Marks becomes imperative. Hypoallergenic, not comedogenic. Water is responsible for optimizing cell function without altering the healthy balance of the skin. Glycerin has moisturizing and moisturizing properties. It increases the water content of the superficial layers of the skin and helps to maintain its hydration level. Gluconolactone, a natural and well-tolerated ingredient that sharpens skin texture, unclogs pores and reduces the formation of imperfections. Salicylic acid promotes the elimination of dead cells and the renewal of the epidermis (keratolytic action). Sodium Lauroil Sarcosinato is a foaming and cleaning agent. Castor oil is nutritious. Strengthens the skin's protective film and the structure of the epidermis by providing lipids.

Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems Applications and Future Prospects

Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems Applications and Future Prospects

Topical and transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDs) have several advantages over traditional drug delivery methods as they can be less invasive more sanitary more cost-effective and may result in better patient compliance. TDDs play a significant role in therapeutics with a variety of preparations and approaches designed by expert formulation scientists. This volume integrates a wide variety of case studies research and theories to reveal their diversity and capture the novel approaches of transdermal and topical drug delivery employed by developers and content experts in the field. It provides an abundance of important information and state-of-the-art research on topical and transdermal drug delivery systems and addresses the basics of drug delivery systems strategies to enhance permeation across membranes and formulation and evaluation of diverse dosage forms. The volume presents an evaluation of the pros and cons of conventional drug delivery systems against TDDs and discusses the nuances of micro- and nano-systems in TDDs. The extraordinary packages of nano systems (vesicular systems polymeric nanoparticles nanoemulsion and dendrimers) are broadly discussed and their applications are reviewed through a transdermal route. The book looks at TDDs and the main nanoparticles used in skin diseases and lesions of the aging such as psoriasis vitiligo cancer lesions of the aging and others. Chapters also discuss polymeric micelles in topical and transdermal delivery; microneedles; emulsion nanoemulsion and microemulsion; TDDs in pulmonary drug delivery systems; nanoencapsulated nasal drug delivery systems; skin sensitivity and irritation testing for transposing transdermal drug delivery systems; and regulatory aspects of drug development for dermal products. Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems: Applications and Prospects will be a valuable resource for pharmaceutical scientists and researchers industry professionals and academicians and students of the pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. | Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems Applications and Future Prospects

Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms and Drug Delivery Revised and Expanded

Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms and Drug Delivery Revised and Expanded

Completely revised and updated this third edition of Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms and Drug Delivery elucidates the basic principles of pharmaceutics biopharmaceutics dosage form design and drug delivery – including emerging new biotechnology-based treatment modalities. The authors integrate aspects of physical pharmacy chemistry biology and biopharmaceutics into drug delivery. This book highlights the increased attention that the recent spectacular advances in gene therapy and nanotechnology have brought to dosage form design and drug delivery. With the expiration of older patents and generic competition the biopharmaceutical industry is evolving faster than ever. Apart from revising and updating existing chapters on the basic principles this edition highlights the emerging emphasis on drug discovery antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates as therapeutic moieties individualized medicine including patient stratification strategies targeted drug delivery and the increasing role of modeling and simulation. Although there are numerous books on pharmaceutics and dosage forms most cover different areas of the discipline and do not provide an integrated approach. The integrated approach of this book not only provides a singular perspective of the overall field but also supplies a unified source of information for students instructors and professionals saving their time and money. | Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms and Drug Delivery Revised and Expanded
