Similar to an acrylic, these water-based inks are thick & highly viscous, whilst able to be mixed with one another to create shade, tones or indeed, completely different colours. They are also easily cleaned using soap & water (before setting). How to create your own unique, funky print: Carefully carve out your design onto a sheet of lino, using the necessary tools. Apply ink using a roller (we recommend the Essdee Fabric Roller) Place face down onto fabric & apply pressure Iron the reverse of the print (on a non-steam setting) for 4 minutes Printed fabrics are washable up to 40°c * For best results, 100% cotton fabric is recommended.

The drying time has also been optimised to give a good balance of 'on tray working time' at typical ambient conditions. These block printing inks work well on all grades of paper, leaving a smooth finish. They are perfect for all kinds of block printing and are supplied in 250ml tubes with a flow control cap. They are vegan friendly. Essdee Lino Printing Inks have excellent opacity, making them suitable for all relief printing techniques, and they can be used with lino, softcut and mastercut blocks. They are not suitable for Fabric printing. When it comes to keeping your hands safe, we recommend using the Essdee Lino Cutter & Safety Hand Guard Set.
