The Hunter X2 controller has a selector-based programming mode. If you decide to upgrade with WAND, programming will be familiar, simple and quick with the installation wizard available on both smartphones and desktops. Hydrawise maximizes water savings by automatically adjusting watering schedules based on local weather reports from the Internet.   The Hunter X2 controller ensures the development and good health of green areas, making site management more convenient and economical even in the simplest installations. This allows the saved irrigation program to be restored at any time. This can be used to return a controller to its initial settings after tampering or at the start of a new season. PROGRAMMABLE RAIN DELAY: The Programmable Rain Delay feature incorporates a user-specified number of days to keep the controller in OFF mode, then allows the system to automatically return to scheduled watering. This will prevent irrigation during an extended period of inclement weather, but will automatically resume irrigation without requiring an additional visit to the controller. The controller will display the number of days remaining before irrigation resumes. QUICKCHECK™: The QuickCheck feature makes it easy to evaluate wiring problems with the push of a button. QuickCheck displays an ERR message when a short in the wiring is detected on a particular station number. NON-VOLTABLE MEMORY: This feature offers protection against unreliable power by retaining the current time, date and program data. AUTOMATIC SH ORT-CIRCUIT PROTECTION: Automatic short-circuit protection automatically detects electrical faults, which are typically caused by wiring problems. Only the affected stations are blown, allowing all other stations to irrigate normally as programmed. There are no fuses blowing or internal circuit breakers tripping, so a complete shutdown of the irrigation system is avoided. SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT (GLOBAL): This feature allows quick adjustment of watering times using a percentage scale. During the peak season, set the seasonal adjustment to 100%. If weather conditions require less water, enter the appropriate percentage value (i.e. 50%) to reduce watering times without the need to adjust each station in the program. The Global provides the seasonal adjustment percentage to all station watering times on all controller programs. DELAY BETWEEN STATIONS: Users can program a delay between stations as the controller advances from one station to another. This delay can range from a few seconds (to allow slow closing valves additional time to close) to a much longer period of time (to allow time for pressure tanks to recharge), depending on the user's needs.
