Sizes 24 - 28 are known as short sizes and sizes 90 - 110 are known as long sizes. Short size means that the same waist size features a shorter crotch length when compared to the normal size. This is also referred to as a reduced size. If you would like to have a normal size (e.g. 48) in a short size (with shorter legs/crotch) , then divide this size by 2 (= 48/2) and to obtain a rough idea of the corresponding short size (= 24) Long sizes are the exact opposite. In this case, the same waist size features a longer crotch length than in the normal size. To obtain a rough idea of the required long size, multiply the normal size by 2, e.g. size 48 x 2 = 96.
