Thanks to this, he can cause a collision by manipulating the traffic lights at an intersection, connect to the city monitoring system or break into a passing person's phone to learn more about him and, for example, interfere with the course of his daily life (save from a thief, steal money from the account, etc.). Pearce's talents allow him to control almost every element of the modern world around him.
Doing all of this is possible thanks to the presence of the Central Operating System, or ctOS. This solution connected the infrastructure managing, among others, to one network. power supply, city subway, traffic lights and surveillance cameras. As a result, metropolises are controlled by computers owned by private companies. These corporations use their position to collect huge amounts of data about every citizen. To take control of a given district, all you need to do is find the local ctOS headquarters and obtain the access codes you need.
The game offers a world with an open structure, in which every element connected to the Central Operating System is a potential weapon. All of this does not mean that Aiden is a weakling stuck to the screen of a cell phone. On the contrary, the hero is also able to deal with physical violence very well and is able to deal with much larger enemy forces. During the clashes, he uses both firearms (from a regular pistol to a bazooka), homemade explosives, and close combat techniques. The cover system also helps him survive.
Watch Dogs has an extensive multiplayer mode, based on several modes that use the main character's hacking skills in different ways. So here we have a team of decrypting a valuable file, tracking others or hacking smartphones and stealing data. In addition, there are such popular options as regular free roam and racing.
