Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy takes players to a mythical version of Ancient Egypt. The ancient empire is under the influence of true evil, personified by the sinister Seth. The players take on the role of the two title heroes, i.e. the Sphinx, which is a hybrid of a human and a lion, and Pharaoh Tutankhamen turned into a Mummy. The fate of the whole world rests on the shoulders of the two protagonists - in order to thwart Set's plans, the heroes must find stolen artifacts, i.e. magic crowns, with the help of which they intend to deal with evil powers once and for all.We observe the events in which we participate in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy from the third person perspective (TPP). The game has been divided into stages, during which we play the role of one of the heroes and use his unique abilities. The Sphinx is perfect for direct confrontations with opponents, making use of the sword, and as the adventure progresses, he learns new skills such as jumping over longer distances, using a shield or throwing projectiles; its advantage is also the ability to transform into a winged lion. The mummy, on the other hand, can become invisible and sneak behind the backs of opponents, which makes it irreplaceable in espionage missions where you need to be smart. The game is enriched by numerous environmental puzzles, the solving of which is necessary to push the action forward. Most of the puzzles are about removing obstacles that block your way or toggling levers, but there is also room for less standard challenges that require logical thinking and fact association.
