Take charge of vital passenger and freight services over stunning Bavarian terrain with the famed Nuremberg-Regensburg Railway, which is exclusively available with Train Simulator 2020!The cities of Nuremberg and Regensburg were linked by rail as early as 1859, however, the route was unnecessarily lengthy and with traffic levels rising, the decision was made 10 years later to start exploring a newer, more direct route between them.Eventually, a route via Neumarkt was chosen, and a single-track line was constructed in stages between 1871 and 1873, shaving some 40km off the previous journey and cementing the line’s importance as a long-distance link to Austria and Eastern Europe. One track became 2 in the 1890s, allowing for further traffic flow that didn’t interfere with oncoming services. In order to modernise the route and prepare it for the future, the Nuremberg-Regensburg railway was electrified in 1950, and then in 2007, it was made suitable for higher-speed rolling stock. All this work has made the line essential for inter-city services, as well as turned it into a major freight corridor. The line also shares its tracks with the S2 and S3 lines of the Nuremberg S-Bahn network. With plenty of traction every day and a diverse range of services to take on, all twinned with iconic station infrastructure and the scenic Bavarian landscape, there’s no resting on the rails of the Nuremberg-Regensburg railway, which you can explore now with Train Simulator 2020!Included ScenariosNuremberg & Regensburg Bahn includes seven engaging and challenging scenarios:[440] 1. Train Simulator: Thompson Class B1 Loco Add-On Steam CD Key

The London and North Eastern Railway’s mixed traffic Thompson B1 Class locomotive is now available for Train Simulator, and includes scenarios specially created for the popular Woodhead Line.Designed by Edward Thompson, chief mechanical engineer for the LNER, the prototype for the new 4-6-0 ‘B Class’ (later classified as ‘B1 Class’) was the first two-cylinder main line locomotive built by the LNER. The B1 was designed for medium mixed traffic use but also had the requirement of being cheap to produce due to wartime and post-war economies. The B1s operated across the LNER network and more than 400 were built between 1942 and 1952. However, with the change in British Railways policies the Class was withdrawn in the 1960s, long before the end of its expected economic working life. The Thompson B1 for Train Simulator is available in British Railway black livery with lion-and-wheel emblem. In game features include completely detailed and operational locomotive cab interior, spectacular Pennines scenery and the famous Woodhead Tunnel system. The Woodhead Line Expansion Pack (available separately) is required to play the scenarios included with this add-on.ScenariosFive scenarios for the Woodhead Line (also available on Steam). An Introduction to the Thompson B1Christmas Relief SpecialHello CampersMarylebone ExpressSteam Freight RevivalKey FeaturesThompson B1 steam locomotive in British Railways black livery with lion-and-wheel emblemRealistic cab interior with working gauges and firebox doorsBR (Crimson) Mk1 coachesQuick Drive compatible

Train Simulator: North Somerset Railway Route Add-On Steam CD Key

The stunning and picturesque landscapes of the Somerset hills come to life in this unique route for Train Simulator, representing the proposed reopened heritage line from Frome to Radstock.A railway line in the North of Somerset is nothing new, with the Bristol and North Somerset Railway opening in 1873. This important line connected Bristol with Radstock, joining an existing branch from Frome to Radstock to serve collieries and the communities that brought workers to the coal industry. However, since 1973 this part of Somerset has been without a rail line, until now - the North Somerset Railway's plan to reintroduce a heritage railway operation between Radstock and Frome will bring new access to an area of natural beauty and serve a growing housing population in the area. The route for Train Simulator demonstrates what the new railway will look like, running from Frome, with important connections to the mainline, through Mells and Kilmersdon, to Radstock. The first phase of the line, from Mells Road to Mells, is planned to open in 2018, with the full line from Radstock to Frome scheduled for opening in 2025.Included with the North Somerset Railway route for Train Simulator is the Class 117, a diesel multiple unit synonymous with branch lines and suburban services. Built from 1959 until 1961, many of the units still run today on preserved railways, despite being withdrawn from mainline service in the mid 1990s.ScenariosFour scenarios for the route:Morning CommuteA Very Special DayA Cold Winter’s EveningFirst Trip of the DayMore scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator: Union Pacific Heritage SD70ACes Loco Add-On Steam CD Key

Includes:Train Simulator: Union Pacific Heritage SD70ACes Loco Add-OnThe powerful SD70ACe is a popular sight across the US freight railroad network and is now available for Train Simulator in six attractive heritage liveries of Union Pacific.Production of the SD70ACe version began in 2004 as General Motors’ response to the popular GE Dash 9-44CW. Originally, the diesel freight locomotive was an upgrade to the SD70M and SD70MAC, designed to meet new emission regulations and with minor external differences in body shape. As with recent US diesels, the SD70ACe was also fitted with a full width ‘comfort’ cab and is a popular sight across the US.More than 1,200 examples have been built so far for a number of US railroads, including BNSF, CSX, Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern.Through the years, a series of mergers have expanded Union Pacific’s track network, opening up new routes and services across the US. In celebration of these fallen flag railroads, Union Pacific repainted six SD70ACe locomotives in attractive heritage liveries during the mid-2000s, including those of the Denver & Rio Grande Western, Missouri Pacific, Western Pacific, Missouri-Kansas-Texas, Chicago & North Western, and Southern Pacific. These locomotives regularly haul freight across the UP network and form part of the current UP fleet. The locomotives are Quick Drive compatible, giving you the freedom to drive the Union Pacific Heritage SD70ACes on any Quick Drive enabled route for Train Simulator, such as those available through Steam.Steam WorkshopScenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator - Great Eastern Main Line London-Ipswich Route Add-On Europe Steam CD Key

Train Simulator - Great Eastern Main Line London-Ipswich Route Add-On Europe Steam CD Key

The large and bustle of the UK’s capital city and the sprawling countryside of Essex and East Anglia come together in one incredible modern route for Train Simulator. The 19th Century London Liverpool Street is the City terminus point of the Great Eastern Main Line before the line winds through the suburbs of London and past the Olympic Park, into Essex and on to Suffolk. The earliest section of the line (often shortened to ‘GEML’) opened in 1839 and ran from Devonshire Station (in Mile End, London) to Romford, Essex. A year later, the London terminus was moved to Bishopsgate and over subsequent years the line was extended further into Essex, reaching Ipswich in 1846. London Liverpool Street became the City terminus of the route in 1872, and now sees more than 57 million passengers each year. The 70 mile route from London to Ipswich sees daily fast passenger services to and from East Anglia with slower commuter services serving the ‘banker belt’. It is electrified at 25 kV AC using overhead wires and has a line speed of up to 100mph (161km/h). The line also carries frequent freight operations working from Felixstowe and Ipswich to Stratford, where connections are made with the North London Line and main lines radiating from London to other parts of the UK.A common sight on the line is the Siemens-built Class 360 EMU, operated by Greater Anglia and included with the route. These ‘Desiro’ units were introduced to service in 2003 and by mid-2004 had completely replaced the ageing Class 312 slam-door units. The four-car units have a top speed of 100mph and quick acceleration, making them ideal for long commuter lines with frequent station stops.Notable landmarks along the route include London Liverpool Street, Stratford, the Olympic Park, Ilford Carriage Sidings, Chelmsford, Colchester, Manningtree, Stoke Tunnel (the only railway tunnel on the Great Eastern Main Line) and Felixstowe Container Terminal and Docks, as well as the Braintree branch from Witham and the short branch line to Colchester Town.

Train Simulator: South London Network Route Add-On Steam CD Key

Train Simulator: South London Network Route Add-On Steam CD Key

Some of London’s busiest railway routes serving two of the City’s busiest termini are featured in this stunning new South London Network route for Train Simulator. The myriad of intersecting and crossing lines that today form the Greater London railway network features two of the capital’s most well-known and busiest termini – London Victoria and London Bridge. The network of lines was first built in the latter half of the 1800s by a number of private railway companies operating at the time, including the London, Chatham and Dover Railway (LCDR), London, Brighton & South Coast Railway (LBSCR), London & North Western Railway (LNWR) and Great Western Railway (GWR).On the banks of the River Thames lay the network’s main termini stations – London Victoria and London Bridge. The latter station was opened in 1836, making it the first and oldest of the current London railway termini today, although part of the station was demolished in the mid-1800s to make way for an enlarged terminus as we know it today.London Victoria – now the busiest terminus in London – was opened 24 years later, originally as two stations operated by rival companies but in the early 1920s combined into one station by the Southern Railway. As passenger services leave these two large termini, the lines cross some of the most densely built up areas of the UK’s capital city; as well as the main lines to West and East Croydon stations, a further nine mile (14km) line via Denmark Hill and a 16 mile (26km) outer circle route via Crystal Palace make up the South London Network. The network also offers unrivalled and spectacular views of many of London’s famous landmarks, including The Shard, Battersea Power Station, City Hall, Crystal Palace Tower, Millwall Football Club’s ‘The New Den’ football ground, Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Also included with the route for Train Simulator are two EMUs – a Southern Trains Class 456 and a Southeastern Class 375 ‘Electrostar’. Both are common sights on the Network and transport thousands of commuters into and out of the City on a daily basis. The Class 456 was introduced onto the Southern Region in 1991 to replace ageing Class 416 2EPB units. Although most units have since been replaced by Class 455 and Class 377 units, many are still in service with South West Trains. The four-car Class 375 ‘Electrostar’ entered service in 2002. Due to their high power consumption, much of the third-rail power supply had to be upgraded on the Southern Region and are still used extensively on services across south London and on rural commuter services throughout Sussex and Kent.
