Call of Duty: Black Ops is the seventh installment of the famous FPS series, which focuses on spectacular action. The studio responsible for the game - Treyarch - has prepared several previous parts of the brand (Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War). The next installment of the series departs from both the first Call of Duty and the newer Modern Warfare climates, taking players to the Cold War era. Singleplayer The entire single-player campaign was presented in the form of an interrogation of Alex Mason, a well-trained commando for the CIA who is being held by unidentified persons. In the next stages, he returns to the missions in which Mason took part, controlling himself or other people from his squad. It is worth noting that Wiktor Reznow, one of the main characters of Call of Duty: World at War, plays an important role in the new game. In Black Ops, as in the previous parts of the series, you travel all over the world, visiting Vietnam and the Ural Mountains, among others. Black Ops is primarily a one-man campaign consisting of extremely spectacular missions that put players in extremely unusual situations. In one of the tasks, we pilot the Hind helicopter and eliminate enemy posts in the jungle, and in another we are on a Lockheed SR-71 scout plane, from which we support ground units (informing them about the enemy's positions). The missions are based on scripts, so they are linear, although on the other hand, they guarantee an amazing experience. In most of them, we focus only on shooting, although some of them also allow you to sneak and fight from hiding. Gameplay The gameplay itself has not changed significantly, although there are some new weapons in the game, more suited to the era and the realities of the Cold War. Players can shoot with a crossbow with an optical sight, for which several types of ammunition (including explosives) have been prepared. Among other new weapons there are also powerful Dragon's Breath missiles for shotguns. As usual, we meet a lot of opponents - this time they are a bit more intelligent. It is worth adding that the creators used a system of hits on various points of the body (a similar solution was used in World at War). Multiplayer An important element of the next installment of the popular shooter is, of course, the multiplayer mode, in which vehicles (known from World at War) reappear. The basis of the game is a system of perks (skills) and various weapons, which allows you to create your own class and unique soldier. Killstreaks (kills in a row) also return in the game, although they now have different rules (their number is carried over after the character dies). It is worth adding that in the PC version of the production, support for dedicated servers has been restored (it was missing in Modern Warfare 2).

Singleplayer The entire single-player campaign was presented in the form of an interrogation of Alex Mason, a well-trained commando for the CIA who is being held by unidentified persons. In the next stages, he returns to the missions in which Mason took part, controlling himself or other people from his squad. It is worth noting that Wiktor Reznow, one of the main characters of Call of Duty: World at War, plays an important role in the new game. In Black Ops, as in the previous parts of the series, you travel all over the world, visiting Vietnam and the Ural Mountains, among others. Black Ops is primarily a one-man campaign consisting of extremely spectacular missions that put players in extremely unusual situations. In one of the tasks, we pilot the Hind helicopter and eliminate enemy posts in the jungle, and in another we are on a Lockheed SR-71 scout plane, from which we support ground units (informing them about the enemy's positions). The missions are based on scripts, so they are linear, although on the other hand, they guarantee an amazing experience. In most of them, we focus only on shooting, although some of them also allow you to sneak and fight from hiding. Gameplay The gameplay itself has not changed significantly, although there are some new weapons in the game, more suited to the era and the realities of the Cold War. Players can shoot with a crossbow with an optical sight, for which several types of ammunition (including explosives) have been prepared. Among other new weapons there are also powerful Dragon's Breath missiles for shotguns. As usual, we meet a lot of opponents - this time they are a bit more intelligent. It is worth adding that the creators used a system of hits on various points of the body (a similar solution was used in World at War). Multiplayer An important element of the next installment of the popular shooter is, of course, the multiplayer mode, in which vehicles (known from World at War) reappear. The basis of the game is a system of perks (skills) and various weapons, which allows you to create your own class and unique soldier. Killstreaks (kills in a row) also return in the game, although they now have different rules (their number is carried over after the character dies). It is worth adding that in the PC version of the production, support for dedicated servers has been restored (it was missing in Modern Warfare 2).
