The beauty of the automatic movement lies in the fact that it does not have a battery at all. The movement gets running energy from the movement of the wrist when the watch is in use. So you never have to worry about changing the battery in your Korpi watch. Our Korpi watch has a reserve of about 42 hours. Unlike a battery-operated quartz movement, a mechanical movement is never perfectly accurate - the running accuracy of a Korpi automatic wristwatch is about -20~+40 seconds per day. We think it's best to follow the movement of the mechanism so that you don't have to take the watch off your wrist.
