Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur 50cl

De Kuyper Crème de Cacao White 50cl

Harahorn White Lemon Gin 50cl

Harahorn White Lemon Gin 50cl

Mozart White Chocolate Cream Strawberry Liqueur 50cl

Copperhead Black Batch Gin 50cl

Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur 50cl

Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur 50cl

Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin 50cl

Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin 50cl

Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin The history behind Monkey 47 starts with Montgomery Collins. His childhood was in East Asia as the son of a diplomat, after which he became an officer in the British RAF (Royal Air Force). After the war, he was stationed in Berlin and was devastated by the destruction he saw there. A growing love for Germany meant he spent much time helping reconstruction efforts, including many housing estates - but also Berlin Zoo. It was here he sponsored an Egret Monkey... Max. After leaving the RAF his love for Germany meant he decided to stay, and eventually settled in the Black Forest. Here he set about trying to create a gin. Unfortunately, during his lifetime he didnt have much success in these endeavours.  In the 1960's during rennovation work, a small wooden box was unearthed. Inside was found an individual bottle named 'Max the Monkey – Schwarzwald Gin'. Luckily there was also a letter which had a description of the botanicals which Collins had used in the gins creation. The current creator of Monkey 47's latest itteration is Alexander Stein, who has heritage in the drinks trade. Along with his partner Christoph Keller (a distiller), they have brought Monkey 47 into the modern day. They use a total of 47 botanicals (hence the name), a large number of which come from the Black Forest region. Whilst the full recipe is obviously a secret, it's known to include cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, almond, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, liquorice, Acorus calamus, bitter orange, lemon, spruce tips, lavender, iris, honeysuckle, blackberries, pomelo, lingonberry, sloe berries, sage and verbena. On the nose, the juniper is definitely present - but more as a back drop. This is a herbal gin, and this is felt in the aroma, with rosemary, cloves and even a hint of earthy mushroom. These herbal notes continue on the palate, with fresh rosemary, green leaves and a subtle yet spicy black pepper tickles the tongue. Woody, and earthy with almost a hint of smoke. Surprisingly, towards the finish more flavours come through, with a delicious hit of sweet fruits, blueberries, orange, crisp green apples and ripened peaches. The final flourish is dry, and lingers perfectly.  Read more about Monkey 47 Perfect Serve An intruiging gin, this can be sipped to enjoy the nuances found within. It also works perfectly in a Gin & Tonic, 50ml of gin to 150ml of a neutral tonic works perfectly (lots of ice and a large glass). For a special occasion such as a birthday, Christmas or a Tuesday, try a Breakfast Martini. In a cocktail shaker add 1 tablespoon of English Orange Marmelade and 50ml of Monkey 47 Gin. Stir well until the marmelade dissolves, and then add plenty of ice, 15ml of Cointreau and 20ml of fresh lemon juice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with some orange zest.

De Kuyper Apricot Brandy 50cl

Aluna Coconut Peach and Pomelo Liqueur 50cl

Marula Gin Pomegranate 50cl

Marula Gin Pomegranate 50cl

Marula Gin Pomegranate The pomegranate edition of Marula Gin was inspired in the same way as their classic, and uses this gin as the base. The Marula tree grows in Namibia, and is also known as the Elephant tree. Elephants love to eat the fruit, but when in their stomach it ferments and makes them just a little drunk! (Apparently monkey's and giraffes like it too for a similar reason!). Taking inspiration from this, as well as the delicious flavour of the fruit, a number of Belgian gin connoiseurs decided to create a new gin, and Marula Gin was born. Using the marula fruit as well as other carefully selected botanicals (juniper berries from Tuscany, lavender from Provence, rose petals from Bulgaria, coriander from India and orange blossom from Spain) they have created a truly delicious fruity gin. In creating the pomegranate expression, Marula use the original base and then add pomegranates, raspberries, wild strawberries and blackberries. This ensure the original gins fruitiness is taken to the next level! This is a truly sensual, mellow and easily accessible gin. The nose allows the additional fruit aromas to come forward, and these fruits also ensure a soft, pink colour. The pomegranate adds a particular (but not overpowering) sweetness to the gin too, which blends perfectly with the other fruit flavours. Good to know! For those of us that love elephants (Emma@ginfling is a big fan), by purchasing Marula Gin, you are helping these magnificent creatures. In return for using the forbidden fruit of the elephant tree, Marula Gin supports Elephant Whispers (a safe haven for elephants in Africa) by adopting elephants. Read more about Marula Perfect Serve This is best served in a large glass filled with lots of ice. Pour in 50ml of the gin, and then gently pour over 150 - 200ml of your chosen tonic. We recommend Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic, but if you really want to enshance the fruit flavours, try their raspberry and rhubarb tonic. Stir well, and garnish with some fresh (or frozen) red berries. For something a little different, try a 'King Louis' cocktail. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, mix together 50ml of Marula Pomegranate Gin and 15ml of lemon juice. Strain into a glass, and fill with 120ml of Fever-Tree Ginger Beer. Garnish with fresh red berries. Please, don't be like an elephant - drink responsibly!!

Gustav Arctic Blueberry & Raspberry Liqueur 50cl

V2C Orange Dutch Dry Gin 50cl

Daffy's Mulberry Gin 50cl

Himbrimi Old Tom Gin 50cl

Himbrimi Old Tom Gin 50cl

Himbrimi Old Tom Gin Both inspired by, and utilising herbs which are found along the banks of lakes and rivers in Iceland, this is a gin quite unlike anything you will have tried before. Using wild arctic thyme, angelica flowers (not the root!), lemon peel and juniper they blend with a neutral grain alcohol which is sweetened with honey. The aroma of this gin is woody, with a wild nature feel. Think pine bark, sweet dark honey and mosses. The flavour stands out - its proud of itself almost, with a bold flavour with defined spicy notes. The earthy notes detected in the nose come through too. Mid palatte the juniper comes forward with a freshness which is joined with thyme, lavender and a little tarragon. The finish is somewhat bitter from the herbs, with a sweetness which lightens it. It remains on the palate, reminding of the drink. This is definitely a gin which can be drunk slowly and savoured.  Read more about Himbrimi Perfect Serve Whilst this is a sweetened Gin (and therefore defined as an Old Tom), this is distilled with herbs, which blends a degree of bitterness into the end of the drink, similar to an Amaro (Italian sweetened herbal liqueur). Because of this, we really enjoyed drinking this on its own as a digestif. This would also make an interesting addition to a Negroni, bringing a different nuance of herbal flavours. For a longer drink, try with a Ginger Ale (Fentimans works well). 50ml of the gin with 150ml of the tonic is a good ratio, a couple of ice cubes and a garnish of a slice of orange.

Kamiki Sakura Wood Whisky 50cl

Kamiki Sakura Wood Whisky 50cl

Kamiki Sakura Wood Whisky Created in Nara, one of the ancient capitals of Japan - Kamiki whisky is a unique blended Japanese Whisky. The name itself, Kamiki is a blend of two Japanese words; Kami, meaning 'God' and Iki, meaning Breath. This came from the beautiful breezes which descend from the local mountain - which has long been considered a 'Sacred Mountain of the God'. Just like in their Blended Malt Whisky, it is created by blending rare Japanese Malt Whiskies with specially selected malt whiskies from the rest of the world. These are then blended with Japanese spring water. Rather than a predetermined ratio, the blending occurs when the malts are at their peak flavour. This means each batch is unique. After the blending process, the resulting Kamiki whisky is rested in Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedarwood) casks . This is similar to the Intense Wood edition. This wood is particularly aromatic, and is considered the best wood locally to make drink casks for this reason. However in their Sakura Wood edition, there is a third period where the whisky rests in Sakura Casks. This whisky has a delightfully different nose, with notes of ripe banana and candied chestnuts. There's also cinnamon and a hint of pine. The nose develops further as you drink, and a distinct woodiness comes through which reminds of the forest. It's mid palate has a distinct and warming woodniess, specifically sandalwood and a gentle spice. These develop into sweet cherries, cutting through the savoury notes. The finish is floral, reminiscent of spring. More from Kamiki Perfect Serve As with all whiskies, enjoy how you like to! However, we liked this one at room temperature with a splash of water.

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin 50cl

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin 50cl

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin Whilst it gives a striking look to the bottle, there is a reason behind the name of Blind Tiger. Another name for a speakeasy, A blind tiger was a hidden bar which served alcohol during the period of prohibition. The door of the place would have the picture of a blind tiger or a blind pig, so those in the know would know where to go! Blind Tiger's Imperial Secrets gin is made in small batches in a "concealed" distillery in the west of Belgium, they macerate and distill the botanicals together before adding seperately distilled teas afterwards. And it is these teas which make this gin something unique and different. Three different Imperial black teas, Indian harmutty Assam tea, Imperial pu-erh himalaya cashmere from the Himalayas and Chinese Yunan matured tea are meticulously distilled to extract their flavours, before being blended and added to the gin. This is a smooth and lucious gin which also takes notes from a botanical blend which includes juniper berries, coriander seeds, grains of paradise, angelica and iris root, lemon peel, bitter almonds and lemon grass. All impart something special to the gin. This is a very well balanced gin overall, between spicy and floral. A smooth gin, its initial nose opens with a little spice, juniper and almond. The taste has mild hints of citrus, coriander and lemongrass, which is backed up by the black tea. Floral notes also come through, particularly from the black teas, and these are what linger on the palate at the end of the drink. Differently delicious! Read more about Blind Tiger Perfect Serve This gins smooth and balanced complexity is best enjoyed neat, over ice or paired with a clean and smooth tonic. For this we recommend Three-Cents Tonic Water. In a glass, add 50ml of gin to 150ml of tonic, and garnish with a slice of lemon. The full flavour also works well with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale. Swap out the tonic for the ale for an added ginger kick to the drink.
