On the nose, it is sweet and rounded, with the aroma of oranges and coconut. On the palate, the flavours of orange and coconut are deliciously sweet, full bodied and smooth. You may want to use it as a substitute to Triple Sec. For an Aratinga cocktail, pour 30ml Ron Compañero Elixir Orange into a mixing glass with ice and add 45ml white rum, 15ml campari, 25ml lime juice, 25ml pineapple juice and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters. Stir well, strain into a glass with ice cubes and add a slice of orange to garnish. If you like it a little sweeter, add sugar syrup to taste.
