Apple Brandy was first conceived with perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur for the opening of Kilian Paris' New York flagship eight years ago. The fragrance returns, with the original apple brandy core but, this time, with the addition of an on the rocks accord, signature of Kilian Paris, which blends with the opening for a liqueur and frozen delight that expresses the unique character of Kilian Paris. A blend of bergamot, apple brandy and cardamom, the accord refreshes the original, adding excitement and modernity. This fresh opening of Apple Brandy on the Rocks Eau de Parfum unfolds the main personality of the perfume: a characteristic apple brandy accord in which a fruity and sparkling blend harmonizes with the famous amber liquid, recreated using notes of rum, musk and vanilla. On a central structure of cedar wood and ambroxan, the perfume brings sophistication into the night. The Angel's Share Eau de Parfum, the result of the first collaboration with the French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, is Kilian Hennessy's most personal creation, inspired by the eighth generation legacy of Hennessy savoir-faire in cognac production. The perfume delves into the cellars of the mind and memory of the founder, in its most mysterious dimension: the angels' share (part des anges or angels' share), an evaporation of the liquor in the oak barrels which rises during the aging, like a silent offering to the gods. Just like a Master Perfumer creating accords and essences in a perfume, a Master Blender combines eaux-de-vie in perfect proportions for an exceptional cognac. Angels' Share contains Cognac essence derived from the liqueur to give it a natural caramel color. Opened with cognac oil, on a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute, the long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla make for a delicious finish, an exclusive blend that only angels should be able to experience. The perfume bottle from THE LIQUORS collection was conceived as an essential speakeasy, like the art deco glasses that recall the most fabulous bars.
