The fragrance was never produced commercially and remained a well-kept secret because his wife Teresa Roudnitska - for whom it was created - was the only person who could wear it. Considered a masterpiece because its floral water accord is 40 years ahead of its time this complex perfume is also reminiscent of glorious perfumes of the past. Mandarin and melon give way to a carnal pink with a heart of plum, the base of cedar, vetiver and leather lends class. A vintage perfume that embodies the style of its creator EDMOND ROUDNITSKA Edmond Roudnitska is widely considered the pioneer of modern perfumery and one of the greatest noses of all time. His background as a chemist at Roure Bertrand Dupont and at Delaire left him with detailed knowledge of all the natural and synthetic ingredients used in perfumery and predetermined his extremely pared-down style.
