Egypt, one of two wonderful new fragrances rediscovered from Fouquet's private collection, a subtle, sophisticated and extraordinarily fresh woody eau de parfum inspired by (and conceived during) two tourist trips through one of the most fascinating places in the world. Based on the exotic plants and flowers Fouquet found in his Egyptian friend's gardens during his visit, Egypt opens with a crisp, understated blend of citrus, lavender and musk, calling to mind pleasant mornings in sunny courtyards with good company. The heart of the fragrance is rich in Egyptian spices: cardamom and nutmeg, followed by a quietly robust base of leather, patchouli and sandalwood that gives it a regal elegance without ever being overwhelming. Eight & Bob Original EDP is an aromatic eau de parfum for men and women. In January 1934, Albert Fouquet traveled to Chile at the invitation of the Italian ambassador. In addition to enjoying the beauty of the country, he took the opportunity to search the Andes for varieties of aromatic plants that would enrich his essences. Returning to Paris, in his suitcase were several buds of "Andrea", the name with which Albert had baptized the plant whose extracts are the heart of the Eight & Bob perfume. Andrea is a wild plant, very rare due to its height and the limited area in which it flowers and which can only be harvested in the months of December and January. A very rigorous selection is carried out from the entire harvest, from which just 7% is exploited.
