Terraria is a 2D sandbox platformer in which players can freely create the world around them. The production is sometimes called two-dimensional Minecraft, because it allows you to greatly influence the course of the game. The independent studio Re-Logic is responsible for its development and release. In Terraria we observe the action from the side, from the so-called side-scroll perspective. Playing is about exploring and shaping a two-dimensional environment. At the beginning of the game, we get some basic tools. From now on, we are on our own and our own ingenuity. While playing, we can dig in the ground and look for resources, plant plants, discover new locations, fight enemies, create objects, and build our own fortresses and houses. The enormity of opportunities and threats makes each game a bit different, because it is created by the player himself. The uniqueness of each approach is also influenced by the fact that the world of Terraria is created randomly - the locations never look exactly the same. What's more, almost all elements of the environment can be destroyed or removed - this is how we collect the materials needed for construction and shape the landscape. When traveling through the area, however, you must remember to provide yourself with adequate protection against numerous enemies, because in the world presented there is no shortage of threats. Also, when it comes to weapons, a lot depends on our imagination - we create weapons ourselves, and the choice is varied. In the fight against goblins or flying eyeballs, we use swords, rifles, grenades and dozens of other creative gadgets. Having erected structures, we have the possibility to settle them and even transform them into cities. If a place is inhabited by at least three people with a sufficiently high level of satisfaction, the player gets the option to establish a fast travel point there. This allows you to instantly move to locations from other areas.  We can go alone or in a group of friends to meet the unique world of Terraria. By inviting other people to play, we gain allies in combat and helpers in building fortresses and other objects. This makes the whole thing take on a new meaning and becomes even more interesting. In addition to the basic game mode, we have two alternatives: Journey and Master. The first one is a module focusing on free play (it is the equivalent of the creative mode known from Minecraft). The second one is dedicated to players who expect a bigger challenge - it offers a much higher level of difficulty. Terraria has a simple, two-dimensional graphic design, which was prepared in the classic pixel art formula. This means that the graphics refer to the productions published in the 80s and 90s of the last century. Key features Enter the sprawling world of Terraria, its pixel-art graphics, rich crafting system, and vicious monsters.
