Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the next part of the extremely popular series representing the jRPG genre. Contrary to most installments of the series, this time we are not dealing with a separate story. Instead, Square Enix decided to continue the threads started in Final Fantasy XIII and once again present players with well-known heroes. The main producers of the latest production are Motomu Toriyama and Yoshinori Kitase, responsible for creating a full-fledged "thirteen". Serah's conjecture is confirmed by Noel, a time traveler who appears when the city of Neo Bodhum is attacked by monsters. After dealing with the threat, Noel takes Serah on a journey to the future to eliminate time anomalies that threaten the world and find Lightining. An important element that builds Final Fantasty XIII-2 is time travel, made possible by the use of Historia Crux. This mysterious phenomenon is like a collection of interconnected portals that lead to different eras of history. A fun-looking Moogle is your guide to turbulence in time. The creators listened to the critical comments of fans and this time during the game we visit more extensive locations with extensive cities and numerous inhabitants. In addition, the fun is not as linear as in Final Fantasy XIII - many locations and alternative worlds can be visited in order to get additional items, information or lead to an alternative ending of the game.
