Brushmere by Cardiff Cashmere is a luxury yarn made from 100% Pure Mongolian Cashmere. Its unique bouclé and brushed texture creates an incredible cloud of softness, lightness, and warmth, perfect for enveloping winter garments with a sophisticated and contemporary look. Composition: 100% Pure Mongolian Cashmere. Recommended Needles: 6/6.5mm (for regular tension and well-structured garments), 10mm (recommended for lace/eyelet work to enhance the cloud effect). Recommended Crochet Hook: 6-7mm (depending on the stitch type). Swatch (10 x 10 cm): About 13 stitches x 20 rows (knit with 6.0 mm needles in stockinette stitch). Post-Production Treatment: Bouclé yarn brushed/fulled (brushing done at the end of the spinning process) and fulled. Already washed/fulled during production. Does not require the classic fulling wash after garment completion to develop fuzziness, as it is already soft and ready to touch directly on the skein. Thanks to the brushing process that traps air between the fibers, Brushmere offers the performance and warmth of a Bulky/Chunky yarn, but with feather-like lightness. Washing: Hand wash only in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C) using very little detergent specifically for wool and cashmere. Do not rub, pull, or twist the fiber during washing. Gently massage the garment. Rinsing and Drying: Rinse thoroughly with water at the same temperature. Remove excess water by patting the garment folded inside a clean towel (or with a very gentle spin at max 400 rpm, enclosed in a laundry bag). Dry flat (laid on a horizontal surface), away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight.
