Nepeta 'Whispurr Blue' (PBR) – 2 Litre Pot, 3 Litre Pot – Blue – Attracts Wildlife, Award Winner, Drought Tolerant, Fragrant

Description

Nepeta ‘Whispurr Blue’ is a compact, free-flowering catmint grown for its soft blue to lilac-purple blooms and long season of colour. From late spring through summer, it produces masses of flower spikes above aromatic grey-green foliage, creating a relaxed, cottage-garden feel while attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Its upright, mounded habit stays neat and tidy, making it ideal for borders, pathways, gravel gardens and patio containers. This hardy perennial is easy to grow and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. Once established, it shows excellent drought tolerance and is also resistant to deer and rabbits, making it a reliable, low-maintenance choice for modern gardens. The mint-scented foliage adds extra sensory appeal and contrasts beautifully with roses, salvias and ornamental grasses. Regular trimming after the first flush of flowers encourages repeat blooming and helps maintain its compact shape. With its resilience, fragrance and wildlife-friendly qualities, ‘Whispurr Blue’ is an excellent option for adding long-lasting colour and pollinator interest to sunny planting schemes.
