Heucheras (also known as Coral Bells) are the ultimate foliage performers – compact, colourful, and unfussy. This collection offers a mix of hardy, UK-friendly varieties chosen for their vibrant leaf tones and subtle seasonal flowers. Whether planted in borders, under trees or in containers, they add long-lasting texture and contrast, thriving in dappled sunlight or partial shade. While many varieties with darker foliage can tolerate more sun, those with lighter or brighter leaves are often prone to leaf scorch or colour fade if in intense sunlight. For best results, aim for a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade, especially in hotter areas. Heuchera are incredibly hard-working and provide useful lower growing coverage for the front of borders and will work in shady areas too. Our Heuchera collection will be specially selected from the extensive range of lovely heuchera that we grow here on the nursery. We will choose what looks good on our beds at the time. You may receive a beautiful mix such as the rich plum tones of ‘Palace Purple’, the coppery glow of ‘Indian Summer Coral Berry’, zingy ‘Lime Marmalade’, 'Boysenberry', the silvery veining and pink flowers of ‘Paris’, or the rich dark tones of 'Timeless night'. Each plant brings its own flair – and they’re all bee-friendly when their dainty flower spikes appear in summer. Perfect for softening edges, underplanting roses or adding low-maintenance colour in tricky spots. Evergreen in most winters, and brilliant paired with ferns, grasses, or hardy geraniums.
