Description

Helenium 'Short and Sassy' is a delightful perennial that captures attention with its vibrant and cheerful blooms. This compact variety stands out for its bright, golden-yellow flowers with a rich mahogany centre, creating a striking contrast that enhances any garden setting. Flowering from late Summer into Autumn, 'Short and Sassy' provides a burst of colour when many other plants have finished blooming. We absolutely love this plant on our nursery for several reasons. Its RHS Plants for Pollinators award highlights its role in supporting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Its manageable size makes it perfect for smaller spaces or as a foreground plant in mixed borders. The dense, bushy growth and prolific flowering ensure that it provides ongoing visual interest and vibrant colour. 'Short and Sassy' also pairs beautifully with other late-blooming perennials, creating a lively and engaging garden display. Its reliability and eye-catching appearance make it a favourite among our horticultural team and garden enthusiasts alike.
