Description

This carbon transponder chip is designed for Vauxhall and Opel vehicles using PCF7935 ID33 technology. The chip communicates with the vehicle's immobiliser via an aerial near the ignition barrel, establishing a secure handshake between key and vehicle. It can be configured on-board on the PCB or housed separately within the key, and is programmable diagnostically or via EEPROM. They can either be built onto the PCB (On-Board) or housed separately in the key (Off-Board). Transponder chips are the part of the key that connect with the immobiliser and are often either carbon or glass.
