Description

This carbon transponder chip is designed for Mitsubishi vehicles using the PCF7935 ID33 standard. The chip communicates with the vehicle's immobiliser system through a handshake signal via the aerial near the ignition barrel, allowing secure key authentication. It can be configured as either an on-board chip (built onto the PCB) or housed separately within the key itself, and is programmable via diagnostic or EEPROM methods. They can either be built onto the PCB (On-Board) or housed separately in the key (Off-Board). Transponder chips are the part of the key that connect with the immobiliser and are often either carbon or glass.
