Description

This glass transponder chip is designed for Seat Megamos ID48 TP22 systems and communicates with the vehicle's immobiliser through an aerial near the ignition barrel. The chip can be mounted either on-board the PCB or housed separately within the key, depending on your application. Programming is available via diagnostic or EEPROM methods. They can either be built onto the PCB (On-Board) or housed separately in the key (Off-Board). Transponder chips are the part of the key that connect with the immobiliser and are often either carbon or glass.
