Autowave Megamos ID48 T6 Glass Transponder

Description

This glass transponder chip is suitable for programming into other ID48 chip types via diagnostic or EEPROM methods. The transponder can be built onto the PCB or housed separately within the key and communicates with the vehicle immobiliser through a handshake connection via an aerial near the ignition barrel. They can either be built onto the PCB (On-Board) or housed separately in the key (Off-Board). This transponder is suitable for programming into other ID48 chip types. Transponder chips are the part of the key that connect with the immobiliser and are often either carbon or glass.
