Mercedes (AUDIO 10/15/20) Single DIN stereo fitting kit with steering controls (QUADLOCK CONNECTION)
Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in select Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted AUDIO 10/15/20 systems and Quadlock Connection This head unit fitting kit includes: Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106) Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier. Antenna Turn on for Mercedes Audio 10,15 and 20 Radios (21-160-ANT) Antenna Turn on for selected Mercedes radios with a quadlock connection. Connect to back of the quadlock on Mercedes Audio 10,15 and 20 radio units to turn on the antenna. Steering wheel control interface (29-UC-050-MB2) This CANbus interface will allow you to retain the audio steering wheel controls when installing an after market head unit in various Mercedes vehicles. This interface will also allow the steering wheel controls to access the display screen menu. The CANbus interface will also give out CAN ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear and hand brake signals. SLK Note: Use this interface for later models R171 with the steering control buttons in a circular cluster. This change of steering wheel happened around 2008 models UNICAN patch lead set (29-UCCAB-SET) Patch cable set to connect a UNICAN interface between an after market head unit and the steering wheel controls. Can be used with Alpine, Kenwood, JVC (single wire), Pioneer, Sony and Chinese/Resistive Programmable head units with either two wires or a 3.5mm jack. Single/Double DIN car audio fascia adapter (50-257) Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a single and double DIN aftermarket version The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. Use the supplied pocket with the fascia adapter panel to fit a single din radio, or remove the pocket and use the fascia trim only to fit a double din aftermarket head unit. For Double DIN installation the fascia takes a 113mm high cage, this is the size of cages supplied with all major brand head unit manufacturers. COLOUR: MATT BLACK PLEASE NOTE: For Double DIN installation the central bar of the fascia needs to be cut out.
