Push Braces Med Hinged Knee Brace - 1

Push Braces Med Hinged Knee Brace - 1

World class knee brace for ligament injuries  Support for knee joint in the medio-lateral direction Non-axial support system that follows the natural rotation movements of the knee Generalised stabilisation and compression for the injured knee joint Sympress™ Technology Comfortable to wear  Fits under trousers / salopettes The Push Braces Med Knee Brace is an award winning knee support for ligament injuries. Widely used by people for skiing post injury or to help to prevent further injuries as it provides a high level of lateral protection but easily fits under salopettes. The brace provides substantial support for the knee joint in the medio-lateral direction. The non-axial support system contrasts with most existing knee braces which tend to use a hinge and aluminium splint to provide support for the ligaments. The knee is supported by two non-axial leaf spring hinges that follow the natural rotation movements of the knee in a unique way, therefore the flexion and extension of the knee are not hindered. The splints are locked above and below the knee in plastic bases and the energy of flexion is dissipated through the strap system, making this one of the best functional knee braces on the market. The strap system offers generalised stabilisation and compression for the injured knee joint. The brace is made of Sympress‚Ñ¢, a high-quality and comfortable material with microfibres to ensure softness on the inside of the brace and to maintain dryness of the skin. When to use - Arthrosis with hydrops Rheumatoid arthritis Functional instability after ligament damage Residual instability after ligament damage Delay after-care treatment of knee ligament surgery Popular knee support for skiing and other sports   SIZE CHART (IN CMS) Size Circumference 1 28-31 2 31-34 3 34-37 4 37-41 5 41-45 Size: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Push Braces CMC Ortho Thumb Brace for CMC Osteoarthritis - Right

Push Braces CMC Ortho Thumb Brace for CMC Osteoarthritis - Right

The Best CMC Thumb Support Brace on the Market!  Used for osteoarthritis in the CMC joint Hand remains stable and allows good grip function Surrounding joints remain free and doesn’t limit their movement Comfortable to wear Brace can be fitted by the individual  The Push Braces Ortho Thumb Brace CMC is a thumb brace used for osteoarthritis in the thumb meta-carpal joint (CMC). The Push Ortho Thumb Brace CMC is recognised as the best thumb brace on the market for treatment of CMC joint injuries. The CMC brace stabilises the joint at the base of the thumb and positions the thumb metacarpal correctly which creates an arch. This ensures proper hand grip. It provides pain relief when experiencing thumb stress whilst allowing freedom in other joints of the thumb and wrist and assists in helping create an optimal functioning hand. The CMC brace removes the need for custom made orthotics to stabilise the CMC-1 thumb joint by its pre-formed flexible plastic enclosure. The enclosure envelopes the base of the thumb and the bracing effect is created with an arc of aluminium following the contours of the lower aspect of the thumb embedded in the plastic. The aluminium splint can be manipulated for individual thumb contours and optimal stabilisation of the joint. The brace is completed by fastening the two Velcro straps around the back of the hand which allows the brace to be easily fitted by the individual. The material and rounded edges allows for maximum comfort and is antimicrobial, can be used in water and can be dried easily. What causes thumb pain? Thumb arthritis is extremely common with one in every four or five people in Europe suffering from this form of thumb joint pain. It is considered as wear and tear of the articular cartilage and it particularly affects people between the ages 40 and 60. Arthritis of the joint at the base of the thumb, with weakened ligaments, results in functional instability. What are the symptoms of thumb osteoarthritis? Symptoms include: Thumb pain Reduced hand function Weakness and stiffness. Arthritis of the thumb is an extreme disability as the use of the hand is fundamental to most areas of normal function.
