From Unison Colour, this robust, comprehensive starter set is the ideal introduction to this medium with 72 high-quality, handmade soft pastels in a variety of shades & tones carefully hand selected by John Hersey himself.
This set includes 6 rows overall, broken down across 72 progressives shades from the pastel-toned Red 12 to the cold, icy Additional 54 & everything in-between.
Handmade traditionally in the UK using strict formulas & exacting standards for an overall selection of over 400 brilliant, highly-pigmented, consistent colours.
Each individual pastel features a high concentration of artist-quality pigments with minimal fillers & no dyes for smooth, fully blendable applications, seamless shading, transitions & gradients in your work.
Known the world over & often described as "smooth as butter", these incredibly versatile pastels can even be used in conjunction with watercolour & acrylic paints for a myriad of beautiful, unique effects.
