The Caithness Glass Heart of Gold paperweight features a single Gold heart, the symbol of love. It is perfect for any special occasion and is particularly popular for Golden wedding celebrations.
The paperweight is created using a heart shape crimp which is pushed up through the molten glass. The indents are formed by rolling the glass over a bubble plate and then gold glass traps the bubbles, creating the gold colour.
Since 1963 and now under the stewardship of Dartington crystal, the team of skilled Caithness glass designers and craftsmen continue to explore and push the boundaries of glass making whilst embracing modern developments in technology to produce high quality paperweights that are recognised the world over as the market leader.
