Unlike traditional Nandina types, this variety is all about the leaves—emerging in bright lemon-yellow tones in spring, maturing to lime-green by summer, and holding their fresh appearance through much of the year. Its evergreen nature ensures year-round appeal, making it a popular choice for contemporary garden designs, urban courtyards, or as a colourful accent in mixed borders. The slender, upright stems and finely divided leaves give the plant a graceful, bamboo-like appearance, yet it stays compact and well-behaved, typically reaching around 60–90cm in height.
