Description

This carbon transponder chip is designed for Lexus ID68 4D keys and communicates with your vehicle's immobiliser system via an aerial near the ignition barrel. The chip can be mounted either on the PCB or housed separately within the key, and is programmed diagnostically to establish the secure handshake between key and vehicle required for ignition. They can either be built onto the PCB (On-Board) or housed separately in the key (Off-Board). Transponder chips are the part of the key that connect with the immobiliser and are often either carbon or glass.
