The PIXAPRO 60cm foldable beauty dishes allow you to take a small to full-sized white/silver beauty dish with you on location without the worrying the weight and size of traditional metal beauty dishes. Featuring a unique inner locking ring design, the Folding Beauty Dish lets you quickly set up and pack away. The Beauty dish creates a unique lighting pattern on the subject offering a round catch light in the eye of the subject, often used in fashion and the beauty industries to create excellent skin tones which are soft and uniform. It is a device used to create soft light it works by using a parabolic reflector to distribute light towards a focal point. The light created is between that of a direct flash and a softbox, hence giving the image of a wrapped, contrasted look, which adds a very dramatic effect. Included with each beauty dish is a removable diffuser to create a softer quality of light, and a fine 4cm honeycomb grid to help with the light spill.
