BlazBlue: Central Fiction is the next installment of the acclaimed series of two-dimensional fights, ending the story of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, which began in 2009. Arc System Works studio, known from previous parts and titles such as Guilty Gear and Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex, is responsible for the production once again. The game was released on slot machines in November 2015, and a little later it hit PS4, PC and PS3 The storyline of BlazBlue: Central Fiction has been divided into three acts, in which we learn about the fate of characters known from previous installments, as well as several new ones - Hibiki Kohaku (Kagura's assistant), Naoto Kurogany (the main character of Bloodedge Experience) or Hades Izanami (a true anatgonist of the whole series). Old friends include: Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion, Rachel Alucard, Taokaka, Carl Clover and Litchi Faye-Ling. BlazBlue: Central Fiction for PS4, PC and PS3 is a game very similar to the previous installment of the series, i.e. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, with the developers obviously taking care of some improvements. The most important of them seems to be the Exceed Accel, a special type of Distortion Drive that deals massive damage but instantly consumes Overdrive. There is also the Active Flow mechanic, which is the opposite of the Negative Penalty status. It activates in case of a very aggressive game and provides additional benefits (higher damage, also in the case of Exceed Accel, and faster regeneration of the Burst bar). In addition, several minor changes have been made to the Overdrive state (activated, provides more damage and other additional benefits) or player portraits. There are several game modes available in production. In addition to the classic Arcade Mode and multiplayer, there are also two additional ones - Speed Star Mode and Alliance Mode. In the first one, our task is to defeat a designated number of AI-controlled opponents within a specified time. Interestingly, in this mode, the player does not lose health from the received blows. In the second mode, we choose a team of four fighters to fight against computer teams of players, and we can recruit the defeated to our team. Key features A big roster of interesting characters.
