Brand: Galaxy Music Corporation
Description
Seven night-themed poems by the mother of the talented artist Malcolm Tuffnell became the basis for this piece. The poems are short and the piece is through-composed, unfolding like a night-blooming flower. The piano accompaniment is at times minimal, ethereal, and lyrical. Choral writing is rich and emotional, a fair amount of divisi occurs. Duration: ca. 3:00
