The Holly and the Ivy

Description

An old carol with an even older text that portrays both Christian and pagan influences. In this arrangement, soloists act as storytellers throughout, while the choir's refrain leaves the listener with a sense of innocent Christmas joy. Opportunities for both accompanied and unaccompanied singing create a good challenge for the choir. Duration: ca. 3:45
