Captain Corelli's Mandolin

Description

This collection presents music played by the character of Captain Corelli himself and original pieces evoking the sounds and events of the book. The extraordinary story of love contrasted with the brutality of war played out amongst the beauty of its Greek-island setting has captured the hearts of readers all over the world. Alongside pieces inspired by the novel, little-known manodolin music is idiomatically arranged for piano by Richard Harris and contrasted with Neopolitan songs and folk songs from Latin America and Greece.
