Tuning forged crankshaft for Piaggio Aprilia Derbi Gilera engine 50/70cc. Magneti Marelli crankshafts are produced in EU with forged steel to high breaking load, which after a chemical surface treatment, they get a greater resistance in stressful working conditions and in the intensive use (up to 16000 rpm). The perfect alignment of the motor shaft eliminates vibration and increases the lifetime of bearings, seals and shims. Lightened shoulders with aluminum inserts are completely modeled by reducing the dead volumes in the crank chamber and increasing the primary compression. The production process of the connecting rods ensures a perfect alignment between the holes connecting rod (polished with a very low tolerance to the circularity, roundness and parallelism of the finished surfaces) and a perfect matching between the through pin and the bearing.
