Symphony is another production, after such titles as Audiosurf or Beat Hazard, that uses the player's collection of music to ensure a unique gameplay experience. This time, a classic scrolling shooter was created, which consists in eliminating the enemies coming from the upper and side edges with the help of a small ship. We observe the action from a bird's eye view, and the graphic layer is kept in a neon style. Gameplay The selected piece of music is of key importance for the pace of the game. If we decide, for example, on fast techno, the screen is constantly flooded with hordes of dangerous, hostile objects. On the one hand, it requires more reflexes from the player, but on the other hand, we get great firepower and large point bonuses. In turn, selecting a more subdued track will ensure a less demanding course of the game. The gameplay is varied by clashes with powerful demons trying to destroy our collection of songs. By defeating them, we discover fragments of a special composition written on the staff, and also gain access to higher and higher levels of difficulty - the creators have prepared as many as six of them. An additional bonus for completing the stage is unlocking ship upgrades. They affect both the speed of the attack, its strength, as well as endurance and acceleration.
