Football Manager 2016 is the twelfth part of the most popular series of football managers in the world. The British Sports Interactive studio and SEGA are still responsible for creating the game. The series was launched in 1992 and for the first 10 years was known as Championship Manager. Since then, players have been regularly receiving new episodes, containing numerous improvements and fixes, thanks to which the developers have gained a faithful crowd of fans who spend hundreds of hours playing with new games from Football Manager every year. Football Manager 2016 allows us to play the manager of a selected football team, fighting in the league games of one of 50 selected countries. As usual, players set their own goals - you can try to lead an unknown local team to the turfs of the largest stadiums or lead the championship team through another successful season. Veterans of the series will find in the game all the elements known from the previous parts. The players get advanced training tools that allow them to set tactics on the pitch and develop the career of individual players. The way of presenting statistics has been developed, making them more readable and transparent, and additional functions make it even easier to control the flood of various data. Thanks to developers' consultations with physiotherapists and doctors, the injury system was modified. Diseases and injuries (divided into different groups) that occur on the turf are presented in a more realistic way, which means that their impact on the game and the rehabilitation process will be different than in the previous titles in the series. During the game, we also deal with the business side of running the team, as well as contacts with the media. The latter aspect has been extended to include new options, such as organizing press conferences and giving interviews. We will watch the games of our players live thanks to a 3D engine simulating the matches. For the 2016 version, over 2,000 new player movement animations have been re-created.
