Design: Steffen Juul Concept: Hibo is a series of beautiful wooden figures from WOUD, inspired by idea of Joie de Vivre or joy of life. These little figures will bring a whole lot of joy to all kinds of spaces, and they are perfect as fun decorative accessories for children's rooms, but they also add a stylish touch to living rooms and restaurants. With the deep black eyes, Hibo has a vibrant look. The hippopotamus' expression can change as the head can be tilted to both sides, giving Hibo a charming and wondering expression on the face. Hibo is made of solid oak and ethically made and is vibrantly colored with child-friendly safe mineral paint. Hibo is available in 3 sizes; Mini, Lile and Medium. In addition to the wooden figure, Hibo, Steffen Juul has designed other wooden figures for Woud. Nunu (elephant) and Rina (rhino). Steffen Juul is a graduate of the Danish School of Design. He has run his own studio with large attention to creating interaction between design and user, for which he has received several prestigious awards. Steffen is a free spirit in constant motion and never rests on his laurels, as he does not see himself as defined by the profession as a designer, but instead regards it as a form of expression. With a drive to create timeless designs, Steffen Juul focuses on the appeal of a design to create a sense of love and joy.
